Folks, disregard all the negatives you hear about the I phone...it really is one truely amazing device.  If the "price is too" high then you can't afford it!

It will do everything a laptop can do and is perfect for city dwellers...no 3G?  What a crock!  Verizon's alledged 3G might as well be two cans with a string between them, it's rediculously slow and basically useless, I know, I had it for a year and hated it (not to mention the billing issues you will face with those idiots!)...best to find a Wi Fi spot if speed is an issue to you...I find the Edge network with 5 bars fast enough to get real internet pages at red lights while stuck in traffic! 

With Google maps, messaging, email, phone, ipod and camera and stock quotes what the heck else could you want?  Vermouth dispenser for martinis?  It really is the real deal and once you see/use one you'll want one!

Pony up the $599 for the 8GB device, it will be the best money you'll ever spend...
