I bought two mopeds from an Ebay store who is in this scooter selling business. I ask for a pink and green scooter and received a blue and yellow scooter. When I won the scooters I paid for them thorough Paypal right away. After a few days of no contact, I called to get a tracking number They could no find mind order and I had to get to extreme measures to get them to sale me the items. I will not mention the numerous calls made before I talked to the right person. Keep in mind the sent me confirmation of payment.
Once the bikes were delivered, they were the wrong colors, and still in the same crate shipped to them. They do not check their own products. The scooters were not put together, parts were missing and they would not start because of wiring issues. I had to pay someone to fix the wiring. I was able to fix everything else.
Once the repairs were completed, the scooter ran fine. Someone should have inspected their products and charge a little more.
Now to my issue. I left negitive feedback and felt obligated to report my experience with my Ebay family. This big Ebay power seller in turn, left negitive feedback for me. I guess buying multiple products and paying promptly was a bad thing. They sent me an email telling me to withdraw the feedback, if I do not want negitive feedback on my record. THIS SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED BY AN EBAY STORE OR ANYBODY FOR THAT MATTER. I refused to withdraw my opinions and they enter in a dispute for nonpayment of one of the scooters. I got another email telling me to withdrawal my feedback. I said no. They entered a dispute for nonpayment of the second scooter. They sent another email telling me to withdraw the feedback. They left a commit under the feedback section "SCAMMER-HE SCAM $1,200.00, WATCH OUT SELLERS.
I respond to their allegations and left proof of payment. I ask why they did not file unpaids in Paypal. They did not respond. The negetive feedback is on my records and the dispute for unpaid items show up in the alert sections. I also get a negetive reminder that I should pay for these goods by Ebay everytime I log in my account.
I felt helpless because Ebay will not respond to disputes over feedback issues, and they favor these Ebay stores "power sellers".
So here is what did. I reviewed all of the policies (tried to anyway) and came up with extortion. Ebay gives straight forward examples of extortion. I believe ATV???? (that sliped out. Disregard this) were extorting me to change my feedback and caused harm by posting false feedback. They made false allegations and called me a liar and a theft.
I also reviewed the negitive feedback of this Company and just about everyone said "SCAMMER - THEY DID PAY FOR THE BIKES". Who would ship scooters without payment? What is the chance that many buyers (who was left negetive feedback), did not pay for thier scooters?
I reported them to them under the concept of extortion. I document all these facts with references. I have not heard form Ebay as of today. WHAT DO YOU THINK EBAY WILL DO?
Does anyone have any feedback on how to handle these situations? Do you think Ebay stores should be held to a higher standard? Should these stores be allowed to leave the buyer feedback if they pay on time? Does anyone get upset with the fact that Ebay stores are taking over and thier goods show up in numerious postings. Should Ebay stores be restricted to "Buy in Now" areas? Should Ebay stores be allowed to have the same product listed numerous time under the same category?

PS - As I finished these paragraphs Ebay sent me a notice of a strike againist my account. I tried to upload my payments in December 2007 but I am not sure if it worked because it did not have a picture ext. on it. So I included it on the bottom. Remember, I sent Ebay with all this information a complaint of extortion and this is what happened.
