I won a winning bid on a dashboard assembly for a 1976 Cadillac Eldorado. In the listing, the seller, a Mr. Jim Simoncelli stated the dash board was perfect, no cracks. The perfect part to add to your car that has a cracked dashboard. Well I ordered it, paid for it via certified check. (He doesn't accept PayPal!!!). Gee, I wonder why?? When I finally received it, This part is worse than the part I was replacing. This part is sun cracked and weatherbeaten. This part does in no way match the listing description. When I emailed him, he says turn it in as a claim against ups as freight damage. This is not freight damage. I called ups to look at it and they themselves say this is not freight damage and I should make a claim against this seller. This part was/is a complete and total rip off and a fraud. With the price of the part and shipping this was an expenditure of $335.00 which is no small amount of money. I performed my duties as a credible ebay buyer. I fully expected the seller to be as credible. He said that if I wasn't happy..too bad, its yours, tough luck. He then said you have the option of leaving me a negative feedback, but I will do the same for you. So do what you want. This guy is a completely different kind of buyer or seller than I have had the pleasure of doing business with. I have had only two people that I would not do business with again, this person being one of them. I would not under any circumstances do business with this guy ever again and I have already told others that are looking for these type of parts to avoid this guy as if he had a contagous disease
