I am very pleased with my Bissell products I own.  I was reluctant at first to purchase this item since I had never purchased or used a deep cleaner before and was investing a larger sum of money than with my vacume.  I want everyone who is looking for a Deep Cleaner to please consider a Bissell Self-Propelled #7950.  The Self-Propelled function makes Cleaning a Breeze!I began using it the 1st day of receiving it just a few weeks ago.  By surprise It was very easy to assemble right out of the box.  It came with alot of sample bottles, but we purchased the Allergy formula cleaning solution for our carpets.  We ended up buying a 2nd bottle since it takes more the 1st time of ever cleaning your carpets.  I thought my carpets were very clean until using this cleaner. PRO: The water tank has a 1 gal. tank is is very easy to empty and re-fill, but the CON: is that is must be emptied very often and it gets very tiresome running back and forth all the time.  Maybe Bissell should make it a 2 gal. tank, but then would it be this easy to maneuver?  PRO:  the heat is very nice to make the drying of the carpets faster! much faster!  I cleaned my 2-large bedroom Duplex home Every Room in 4 hrs and by the time I was finished all the rooms were dry except for the last one I cleaned, by the time we went to bed, it was dry too! definite PRO!  The onboard tools were very handy to reach the sides and corners of the carpets where the machine couldn't get and I also used the upholstery tool on my recliner...WOW, PRO: it made my 7 yr recliner look brand new again!! Amazing!  Great to use with auto's to.  Bissell also makes a citrus scent cleaner too.This machine cost me $206 included s/h and I believe paid itself off with the 1st cleaning.  The air in the house even smelled like fresh sunshine, just one thing to remember, when using a deep cleaner no matter what brand:  never soak the carpet too much, it will make the carpet mildew underneath.  No, I did not do it, but a friend of mine did and she had to replace her carpet.
