eBay has a very liberal Blogging experience for its Buyers and Sellers.
Before Blogging, you should review and make a mental note of the "policy" in place regarding the contents allowed, and the acceptable behavior.
Also, make sure that you are fully aware that the majority of the Bloggers participate in the defending each other against Buyers with legitimate comments, questions, and concerns.
If you post any opinion contrary to those in the Blogs, you too will be subject to personal attacks, humiliation, retaliation, foul language, and even threats to your life.
I have personally endured almost all that could possibly be considered a "violation" here in the eBay community. And, you are free to "report" these issues, but the offenders do not get anything more than a "removal" of said Blog (unless the offended deletes it first him or herself). I have yet to see anything else happen regarding very serious violations. And, what's worse - the offenders continue to do it, laughing at eBay's attempt to squash it!
I have been hounded repeatedly and I believe that Buyers, in particular, should stand up and make sure that eBay knows that we do NOT want to put up with it any longer.
Be very leary of the Bloggers with an I.D. of (0). Those people generally are not there for anything other than to harrass other Bloggers. They don't want to reveal their money making I.D. which could deter curious Buyers when they see how offensive they are in the Blogs.
Things to look for when you encounter a Nasty Blogger:
Check the Blogger's I.D. (is it a Power Seller or a newbie? Many "Power Sellers" seem to believe they are above the law.)
Read their Blogs (If they don't have any Blogs, check the Blog Front page periodically and see if that Seller makes comments in other Blogs. They may not want incriminating evidence on THEIR "My Page".)
Look at the Feedback (check to see what type of feedback THEY leave!) Are there any "negatives"? And, if there are any negatives - try to see if you can tell if it is a Retaliation towards a Buyer.
These tips may help you to understand the mentality of the Sellers in the Blogs. BE VERY CAREFUL!!!
