Dear eBay pals, this is about buy and sell scams by registered members on this authentic website.

Tips to understand and locate before you get trapped:

1. The highest bidder, to your product will cancel his registration immediately after he hits your email address.

2. They pose themselves as located in Europe or USA and want's you to ship to Third world countries primarily Nigeria.

4. Payment processed notification through money gram comes to your mail account but these are mails generated by the bidder. (It is a very simple process, but let's not talk about that).

5.The catch point here is the payment recieved confirmation bogusly genrated as if it is from moneygram or could be any other authorized payment processing company, will ask you to ship goods and give them the shippment tracking no. so that the payment can be realsed to the seller. (Never send goods unless you feel the money in your hand)

6. They can send you a fake 'Cashier's check ' too  and you might get your payment from your local bank too but then after few days your bank is going to hit back on you when they process this check.

7. These scamsters somtimes circumvent the ebay channels and hit directly on you by assuming your email id as that is the login name on ebay, and then comply with the price you quote but will try to push you to speed up the dispatch process.

I was this close to fall in one, but my blessed intution and keen observation helped me.

I hope this information helps you to understand the settings of this fraud networks to some good extent.
