Fake ipods are becoming increasingly more popular on ebay. Some of the ipods being sold (most 2nd gen ipod shuffles and 3rd gen nano) on ebay are not genuine!

Here is what to look out for-

• Listings that obviously make an attempt to avoid using the brand name (Apple)

• Listings that advertise there product as an mp3 player instead of an ipod nano/shuffle etc.

• If the listing mentions that the product is an OEM, this means it is a copy of the real thing

• Another of the main give aways is if the box says "mp3" on the side or anywhere on the box, this means it is NOT genuine, Apple use their brand name on their box, not "mp3"
