Looking to start a beer can collection or add to your current one. Beer Can Collecting has become fun, exciting and an investment for all. Amazingly starting a collection is fairly simple and easy when you have the needed information to help guide you. Beer Can Colectibles has this information to help you get started. First, the most popular beer cans collected today are the 12 ounce Cone Tops and Flat Tops with Pull Tabs moving up in popularity. Listed below from left to right we have Cone Top, Flat Top and Pull Tab.

Reference Books are available and contain useful, detailed information about the cans and hobby, A must for any collector! When buying beer cans you should know Beer Can Abbreviations, understand the Grading And Condition system and how to date them. The value of a beer can is determined by how old it is, shortage or amount available, its condition and just how much someone is willing to pay. Always try to buy beer cans that have at least one good face side (front) for display. This is the key when displaying your cans and re-selling/trading your cans. So other areas of the can with little scratches, dings, tarnish and rust don’t matter too much when picking out a can for your collection.  When selling your cans It’s always good to display all sides of the can so the buyer knows what he is getting, but in my opinion the face of the can is still the most important. To help protect your beer cans from Acids, Acids from handling, dents , dirt, dust , humidity, moisture, scratching, shipping dammage, and spotting you can use Can Wraps for partial protection or Can Guards for complete protection. We find these help preserve the can as well as the hobby. For move along storage, easy viewing, and sorting of your cans by type you can use Beer Can Totes. Another option for displaying and viewing your cans would be to buy or build a small shelving unit. I hope this information was helpful to all those who plan on starting a Beer Can collection or those who already collect. Please check us out online and start collecting today! Have Fun Collecting.
