BEARDED DRAGONS do make awesome pets although they might not look all that friendly they are. Don't beleive next time your in the pet store and your just in the mood to check them out go by them and slowly wave. They most likely will give you a wave back they do this to acknowledge you kinda like give you a heads up as being in their group.
They eat different things they come from australia their are several different types pastels, sandie. On the food they can eat collard greens, squash, to crickets, supper worms, silk worms, meal worms, roaches, pinkie mice, apple sauce, and lots more on the net you can log into reptic zone and there is awhole region of dragon lovers of all who give advise also on reptic zone they also give advise on all reptiles. Cages, setups, foods sources, and does and don'ts. Did you know a bearded dragon can die form not having proper room tank size, heat source, uvb light. Also if eaten fireflys and ladybugs can kill them because of the certain poisons chemical compound in their body they have. But in all they are docile they do make good pets they like to be around people if treated properly. I have 4 2 gals and 2 guys my 10 year old loves them and takes care of them as well.
She has also used them in a class report and made an A plus cause she knew so much took no time to do the report because she already knew the info. And she actually enjoyed doing it, plus the class had a treat to meat and greet her pet and now her classmates whish they owned one as well.
