2 months ago i asked to one seller from USA if i can include in this guide some parts of his descriptions about how to recognize a fake, he was selling a pair of Nike transformers and he described a fake very well on his description of the item telling things like about the difference between Chinese characters and Japanese letters, telling that only 3,000 were made worldwide (i asked by email to Takara Tomy Japan and they don't disclose this information but of course 3,000 is a ridiculous quantity up of 20,000 items were made) He told me that i cannot use their description because i don't have to talk about something that i don't know (probably jealous because i was selling the same item from Japan) i believe in a strong eBay community and here is enough market for everyone that wants to start a business here but sure he don't share my opinion and seems to know much about the fakes that probably he had one. I respected their decision and like he said about to talk about what i really know and  since i know very well about the originals this is my little contribution if someone are interested about this item.

How to recognize a fake Nike Transformers item?

Frankly is hard to tell how to do this but looking on eBay all this past 7 months since the release of this product we saw a lot of fake items sold.
Here some points to consider before buy this item.

* Preferably buy from Japanese sellers.

   Japanese love branded and expensive items and  i never have seen a counterfeit selling in stores or Yahoo    Japan auction moreover this item was released in Japan.

* This item was released on April 27 and sold out in only 3 days.

   How can be sold from other Asian countries is a question that you should do before your purchase including

   I have seen one seller offering wholesale HORROR!!! ONLY ONE ITEM PER PERSON WAS SOLD.

  

* Only two models was fabricated and sold separately or a set of 2.

   There is no other models or colors!! look by yourself right now on eBay we are not accusing anybody but...

* Ask for the seller to show real pictures of the item.

   some pictures are for display only and are spread on internet so with a real picture you can see and purchase an item as described.

* There is a lot of counterfeit on eBay and thats not a secret , so looking at the feedback of the seller is a practice that everybody do but could be worthless because most people cannot recognize a fake and always leave a positive feedback.
