Are you searching high and low for a baby morgan blanket, but see how high prices can get for this elusive "hard to find", "Rare", "vintage" item?  Also some sellers sell "Bright Future like morgan " blankets. As a mom to three children who would scream their heads off without these perfect blankets, I can tell you- There is really no difference in the Baby Morgan brand blankets and the Bright Future labeled ones, except the label. To my understanding Baby Morgan sold out to Bright Future, so it's the same thing anyway. I have 30 or so of BOTH brands and unless I look for the label, there really is no difference in feel, texture, binding, thickness or anything other than the tags. Some sellers may not like you knowing, as they can hike prices up on a New in package Baby morgan blanket that is the exact same thing as a lower priced Bright Future labeled one.  So unless you're a baby blanket collector, the Bright future ones work just the same and my kids love them too.  And just to note, I'm Not a seller of either of these brands, so I'm not pushing for one or the other- Just some helpful advise from one mom to another :-)

UPDATE: The right Future brand was sold last fall at JC Penney's stores in a drab sorta olive green, and I think pink and blue (I can't remember honestly I was baby gift shopping and bought one of the green ones for my new nephew)  They ONLY put these blankets out during the fall winter months as they don't consider them a yearround item. So when you see them- don't just buy one- you WILL Regret it if you are a mom of a favorite blankie baby! These are hands down without a doubt the absolute favorite of so many - and are so hard to find I see them sell on Ebay USED for insane amounts due to moms that really need a replacement or a backup. Retail was about 17.99 or something like that last fall. Best of luck!!!!   (revised 7-30-08)
