I am an avid card collector and have been for years. I have noticed a lot of Pro Graded sports cards. I actual purchased one at a very hi price but below a PSA graded card of the same grade. When received I immidiately noticed the card had been trimmed on top and side. card actual measured short. I began to look for other ebay auctions with this grading company and noticed that on close inspection 90% of the cards had been trimmed. This makes me wonder if they check for trimmed, reprints or copies when they do there grading. I know the card I bought was trimmed. I emailed other sellers selling the Pro Graded cards with my concerns that the cards they are selling are obviously trimmed and the answers i received where always the same "Mind your own business and dont worry about what i am doing, dont buy it if you dont like it" They KNOW what they are doing so please be aware that Pro Grading does not check anything when they grade cards. They can be trimmed, reprints, copies and who knows what else. Luckily I did get a full refund on my card after threatening to turn the matter over to the police and postal service. thank goodness people are now aware of the problem and there arent many of these cards out there now. The only reason someone would use this unorthadoxed grading company is because they know the card has issues and another grading company will not grade it because of the alterations. Also a card that has been graded authentic but received no grade is a red flag for the card be altered. As always, Buyer Beware.
