This is a great book to have. It is a gathering together of various articles that have appeared in Autoharp Quarterly magazine by the various authors. This book will teach/show you how to repair/improve/and even build an autoharp worthy of having. If you are like many of us who have an Oscar Schmidt, you need this book, as all Oscars come from the factory needing proper set up. This book will show you just how to do that. The book also tells you how to change an old harp into a chromatic scale harp-fairly easily. The book is the cheapest way to obtain this wealth of information and have it to lean on for future playing.
Autoharps are great, easy instruments, but almost all (except for the top of the line custom made) can use a little tweeking here and there. ANY old harp you buy on ebay could use the info contained in this book.
