I was looking for a PT Cruiser Convertible on Ebay.  I had found a number of them that looked promising.  Most said they had a "clean" Carfax report and would even furnish it if requested.  I had purchased the 10 Autocheck reports through Ebay and decided to run reports on the cars I was interested in.  MUCH to my surprise - Auto check came up with things that Carfax did not mention.  One car had been in an accident in Florida (six months ago) and did not show up on Carfax.  The worst one was a car that had frame damage listed with autocheck and a clean Carfax report.  I highly recommend using the autocheck system before buying a vehicle on Ebay (or anywhere for that matter).  Do your Homework!!!!!  Buyer Beware!!!!!!
