Sad but true: There are no authentic BNWT Ralph Lauren Multicolor Big Pony polos available on eBay.
First of all, even if you buy from a PowerSeller with 1000+ positive feedbacks it doesn't mean that the items are authentic. It only means that the they are of acceptable quality and arrive in a decent time.
If you don't take my word for it, so check it out yourself: at www.polo.com you can see all colors Polo Ralph Lauren has ever manufactured. For Multicolor Big Pony they are Black, White, Red, Newport Navy, French Navy and Northwest Pine. This applies both to classic-fit and custom-fit shirts and isn't likely to change in the near future.
Then do a quick search on eBay and notice how many skyblue/pink/purple/yellow/brown/orange/light green polos there are on sale by quite reputable sellers. See?
They get those shirts from Chinese wholesale agencies for $10 per shirt. Yeah, that's right. It's as low as £5 or 7.50€. What quality can you expect for that price? And does anyone prevent those factories from using child labor? Once again, do a quick search on Google for multicolor+big+pony+wholesale and see it yourself.
I wasn't aware of this previously so I was foolish enough to buy such a shirt myself. I was totally shocked when the it arrived because already the Polo Ralph Lauren logo on the polybag was written with a completely wrong font. I didn't open the package further but contacted the seller in order to return the item and get my money back.
Unfortunately in my case the seller (one with 400+ positive feedback) didn't care about his clearly-stated return policy. He told me that he's "genuinely sorry" but won't refund anything. Even if I leave him negative feedback. And report him both to eBay and Ralph Lauren Corporation. Period.
Apparently he thought I wouldn't do so but I did. I used the 'Item Not Received or Not as Described' procedure and reported the item as fake. Luckily enough in less than 24 hours the fraudulent seller had refunded both the item itself and the shipping cost to my PayPal account.
Afterwards he hasn't been selling one single item on eBay although his account still exists. So never hesitate to defend your rights as customer!
Last but not least: It's totally up to you whether you want to make yourself ridiculous by wearing fake gear. The choice is yours but remember that you'll lose your street credibility and at the same time support international criminal organizations if you do.
