I have been getting a bit irritated trying to find authentic Juicy on eBay, and it seems most people who sell it on eBay are selling fakes...I would just like to give a little advice on how to determine if the fleece, terry or velour pant you are buying are authentic. There are a few ways to tell...
- Does it look just as good as the image does that they get from other sites like Neiman Marcus?
- Is the color off? Not everyone's digital camera "not work properly"...that excuse is lame!
- Is the item like $30.00 for a full tracksuit? OK, for something that retails generally for $170+ depending on what you get...that is too good to be true...
- and finally, the tags...are there two or three tags? There should only be two tags! A lot of fakes have three tags, and the third tag that is attached is the "protect your 'J' zipper pull". This tag is only on hoodies and jackets and will never be on pants unless one day Juicy makes pants with a "J" zipper pull. It's really common sense, why put a tag on something that is not relevant to the item?
Sorry to vent a bit, but some people pass their fake junk off as the real deal...I am not an expert, but all Juicy clothing I buy comes from Neiman's, Nordstrom's, SAK's or their websites. I own more than 20 track suits, and I have never seen a "J" zipper pull tag on the pants, only the hoodies...Thank you for reading my guide, below is a picture of the tag I am referencing to, if you have any questions, please feel free to ask!
