Alot of sellers will put *Authentic Gucci* in their heading. They may even be power sellers, but when I purchased my gucci Glasses, and purses from the Gucci store in Phipps Plaza, Atlanta GA, the purse straps were not wrapped in plasic. Some people have pictures with plastic coverings on the handles of the purses...NOT REAL...when I spoke to the sales representative at the Gucci store...she informed me that, that is #1 RED FLAG for "KNOCKOFF". My glasses say GUCCI in the inside with a model # in the inside and when entering the model # of the glasses online you will be able to see the exact same glasses from a participating gucci retailer or on www.gucci.com, the fake ones do not...also the fake GUCCI Sunglasses sometimes come with the G's backwards or the G's look like C's. You can tell that my G's are actually the letter G.
Designer handbags are popular and cost as much as they due because first and for-most they are made from quality materials. Take a good look at the stitching. There should be no loose or missing stitches, the color of the thread should match the main color of the bag and the stitches should be evenly spaced. If the handbag is leather, the logo should be engraved, not just printed on the leather.
An authenticity card is a little card that usually has the manufactures logo embossed on the front and has some information about the product you purchased and sometimes includes a magnetic strip, bar code.Gucci includes a small leather tag on the zipper seam of the handbag which includes a serial number. If the ebayer doesn't show the picture of the serial # beware or request a picture of it.
