I have decided to write this guide because this site is absolutely flooded with cheap fake jerseys. I want to give a few helpful tips so that you can have a positive experience buying jerseys on Ebay.

First let just say that not everyone cares if the jersey they are buying is authentic. That's fine, if you know in advance that what you are buying is a replica, or worse, a bogus jersey.

I really feel that the old saying "you get what you pay for" definitely applies to jerseys. That's not to say you can't find great deals on authentic jerseys, but if a seller has several listings for a new jersey, and it's listed as AUTHENTIC for $25, that doesn't make sense. Reputable dealers pay way more than that to buy the jerseys, so there is no way they could sell them that cheap.

A popular thing we are seeing right now are jerseys being sold that were never even produced by the manufacturer. You see this a lot with M&N jerseys. Do your research..it is real easy to spot a knock off if the jersey was never even made by that company.

I would like to endorse lakeshow2. They are a seller on Ebay that specialize in Mitchell & Ness jerseys. I personally have bought several jerseys from them, and they are the real deal. They disclose any defects up front, and you can save a lot of money with them.

Some things to look for when buying a jersey is the quality and font of the numbers. Cheap ones don't use the same quality tackle twill that real jerseys use. Also, look at the sleeve cuffs. Huge difference between real and replica. One thing you will notice on the knock offs is the numbers usually appear to be puffy, whereas a REAL jersey has the numbers heat applied then stitched.

Ask the seller where the jersey was made, this is another way to determine if it's the real deal. Buy from sellers that offer a return policy. If what they are selling is real, they will stand behind it.

I'll be adding more, but if you have specific questions, feel free to contact me through Ebay. Thanks
