When buying Diesel Jeans, there are a few ways of checking it's authenticity:

* First, make sure that the seller guarantees authenticity.

* When looking at the jeans, you will notice that the denim is very high quality.

* Double check the distress marks.  If it looks too perfect, it is distressed robotically(good indication of fakes).  All AUTHENTIC Diesel Jeans are hand distressed!

* On the Diesel tag, at the bottom of the tag there is a silver microstitching(high quality and shiny).  On fakes they do a poor job of cloning this style of stitching; It will look a little like plastic stitching.

* Also on the Diesel tag, on top of the Diesel Head symbol, you will see a subtle number(in the picture shown, you will see "77".  It is hard to see, but at a certain angle, you will be able to see it.  On fakes, they will not have this.
