I have no problem with imposter, or" compare to" designer sunglasses, Chanel or Dolce Gabbana, Dior  any of the premiere designer sunglasses. What I have a problem with is when they are labeled Gucci, when they are not or labeled Dolce and Gabbana, and they are DG a knock off brand.

Price is not always an indicator  that you are buying a look alike or designer, as we all know you can find a great buy on ebay if you're a savvy shopper. I am. I've purchased authentic Dolce & Gabbana sunglasses, as well as Dior and Cavalli at a fraction of their cost.

What I am peeved at, and surprised with all the information out here is that people are still giving positive feedback to people who are selling the fakes as imposters. I just recently purchased a pair at thats what happened to me. I even checked the sellers feedback and almost everyone said they were authentic, or were satisfied. Prehaps it was just me, because I want the quality good for an authentic pair of glasses and not great for a fake pair. Mind you there are times when the fakes are warranted, as you may not want to damage your good pair(s) during a back yard BBQ or at a sporting event where they can get broken. But I want to make that decision myself, as if they are fake paying anything over 20.00 is too much for me. Here is the sellers auction for the item I purchased: 260132880415

They are actually the knockoff DG. Big difference. I paid 40.00 plus 11.00 shipping. I can get these at 15-20.00  at the flea market. Sometimes as little as 5.00 in NYC where I live!!

I think sellers should state designer imposters or such. I think this particular seller should not be allowed to use the actual designer names as this is inacurate.

Buyers, no matter how old, or new sunglasses are they marked. I have a pair of Fendi's from the 1990's that have the color codes, model and made in Italy. It doesn't matter, as this is an industry standard.

Also if there is crystal on the sunglasses, it always Swaroski as that  is the industry standard. NO EXECPTIONS.

Every seller of the authenic glasses I've purchased (7 since 03/07) have had all the revelant information in their auction or e-mailed it to me when requested. This one slipped by me.

I hope some of you feel as I do. I hope I'm not being petty just because I feel I was duped.
