Do not buy new items if the auction does not include the brand name.Don't be suckered as I was by some of the offerings in kitchen items by some clever Ebay sellers. I recently bought 3 items which amounted to petty scams, these items ( a set of stainless steel mixing bowls, a stainless steel tea kettle, and a set of stainless steel measuring cups and spoons) were described as professional grade and high quality. The measuring set auction described the item as "same as Williams & Sonoma.". The auctions included very pretty pictures but did not identify a brand name. The bowls and tea kettle turned out to be the Costco house brand and the opening bids were much higher than the Costco price, with shipping my cost was twice as much as Costco. Nice business plan, troll for unwary buyers on Ebay and when you sell one go to Costco and buy the item and ship to the buyer. The measuring set was another housebrand and of a very poor quality.
My advice to avoid these problems, if the auction does not include the brand name so you can comparsion shop DO NOT BUY IT.
