Having worked with auctions on line as well as in person one mistake I find with many people is price setting. Most people set prices too high to start with. If you want to move something ask yourself what is the bare minimum I can be happy with. I see to many auctions starting at or near list prices for the expected big sale, yet they end up relisting over and over. You want to draw as many bidders to an item as possible. This will bring more bidders in for the "Great Buy" and other will want it as well resulting in what we see sometimes as the,"I cant let it go yet" results. Identical material will sell higher then the same material being offered by another.

It is a risk that can payout. Also this idea will support someone with multiply items as it tends to work with the volume ebayer.

This will also result in people coming to see your other auctions and yet others will most likely add you to a favorites. All this adds up to more visits and sells. Just ask how many times you went right by auctions that had no activity? The bottom line is activity, be it the individual auctions or across the board, brings additional activity and money.

Hand in hand with this is to post different items but in the same field. By this I mean a single topic such as plastic models can be expanded on. Post auctions of different catagories such as space, Armor, and figures. This way you can cross pollinate the market drawing in people looking for one thing yet finding others.

With these basic themes and the number one rule, keep it simple, you can increase movement of material. Thank you for taking the time to read this guide.
