Imagine having songbirds come right to your window to feed.  The window birdfeeders  is quickly becoming the new aquarium.  There are three styles of window feeders, the Suction Cup feeder, the Windowsill feeder, and the In-House feeder.

Suction Cup Feeders

Suction Cup feeders attach easily to single pane or casement style windows and ca be conveniently filled from inside the home.  They are the smallest sized window feeder with a seed capacity of a cup of seed to 2.5 lbs.

Windowsill Feeders

Windowsill feeders can be installed, filled and cleaned from inside the home and are held securely in place with a ue spring tension rod.  They are in the midrange of size and capacity.  Seed capacity ranges from .075 lbs to 3.5 lbs.

In-House Feeders

In-House feeders are also easy to install into most double hung windows and allow the closest bird watching available.  Some In-House feeders allow the window to be completely closed and locked with the feeder in place.  The In-House feeder is the largest feeder in this class and has a seed capacity of 1.25 lbs.

You'll love having the songbirds arrive at your window.  You can watch the chickadee pick through the seed for just the right one.  In the spring you'll get a closeup view of the chicks vibrating their wings to let it's parent know it wants to eat again..  Having a window feeder dosn't bring nature to your front door, it will bring nature into your window.

Birds that will use window feeders:

Blackbirds, bluebirds, cardinals, chickadees, crows, doves, finches, flickers, goldfinches, grackles, grosbeaks, jays, juncos, kinglets, mockingbirds, nuthatches, orioles, redpolls, robins, siskins, sparrows, starlings, tanagers, thrushes, titmice, towhees, warblers, waxwings, woodpeckers, and wrens

Seed or Feed Options:

Cracked corn, fruit, mealworms, mixed seed, peanut chunks, peanuts in shell, safflower seed, sunflower kernels, sunflower seed, and thistle seed
