Within your selling preferences under payment from buyers there is a check box that says "Include my items when buyers pay all their sellers at once using PayPal."
Now this is great for a buyer. One click and everything you bought has been paid for at one time. But not so good for a seller.
For me I only ship to a confirmed address. So what happened is that someone who did not have a confirmed address managed to make a payment to me for an item anyways. So off to Paypal I go to find out what the problem is. They tell me it is that pesky box "Include my items when buyers pay all their sellers at once using PayPal." That I unknowingly had checked.
How could this be you might ask. Paypal told me that one of the other sellers that this person paid did not have the confirmed address requirement, so all payments go through regardless of each individual sellers preferences.
So, if you only want to accept payments from a confirmed address be sure to change your eBay selling preferences and remove the check mark for Include my items when buyers pay all their sellers at once using PayPal."
