Be careful when buying both new and used Astaro products (they make firewalls which are sometimes called threat management appliances, or security gateways). Astaro has a strict implementation of counting "users" --let me explain; if the gateway is rated for 50 devices or users, you need to remember that it counts itself as a user, if you have a laptop user who sometimes uses the docking station and sometimes not it is two users (due to different mac addresses) and if they vpn thats another user/device too (!). if you have an office with ip phones, if you have servers, even if you have devices (such as an ethernet NAS) that do not traverse the firewall they will likely be counted.
Astaro makes terrific products; secure, easy to manage, but they have a bizzare counting scheme whereby a 25-person office can easily exceed a 50-user/device gateway.
Please also remember that you will might also be purchasing a contract to keep this gateway up to date with current definitions.
