Hardware Included:
4 corner plates with screws 2 screw-in hangers
4 back plates 2 wall bumpers
8 spring clips
Tools Needed:
Flat head screw driver
1. Joining the corners:
Select a short frame rail. Insert a top plate (has 2 screws) and a bottom plate into each end of metal frame rail and loosely tighten the screws. Figure #1. Attach the 2 long rails to the short rail by sliding them into the corner hardware and tighten the screws.
2. Insert you framing package:
Assemble your artwork package (glass/plexi, matboard, artwork and backing) and slide it into the channel of the metal frame. Figure #2.
Attach the other short frame rail as you did in #1 and tighten all the screws. Corners may need slight adjusting by loosening the screws, adjusting the corners and re-tighten the screws.
3. Insert the spring clips:
Slide the spring clips between the back edge of the frame and the backing board. Figure #3. Note: If the frame needs to disassembled for any reason, remove the spring clips before opening the corners.
4. Add wire and bumper pads:
Insert the screw hanger into the left and right side rails of frames about 1/3 from the top of the frame and tighten securely. Loop the wire (not included) twice through both hangers and then twist it to secure it in place. Figure #4&5. Attach the bumper pads to the bottom 2 corners of the frame. This prevent the frame from marking your walls. You are now ready to hang your frame.
