Born in 1981 in Redding, California, Ashley Parker Angel became a recognizable face through his involvement with the MTV show Making the Band. On the show he became one of the members of the boy band O-Town, which toured and sold millions of records while the show was on the air. Soon after the show ended, O-Town was dissolved, with each of the members heading toward their own personal projects.

Three years after the end of O-Town, Ashley Parker Angel returned to music with a solo project entitled Soundtrack to Your Life.
