With all of the hype that goes along with the big name lure manufacturers, fishermen probably think that they are getting the best made lure on the market when they purchase one with a name on it. The other thing that may have them thinking that is the price they pay for that lure. The plain simple truth of the matter is, there are lures that will cost alot less than Mega Company's and more importantly will , flat out, outfish them. Almost all of the components used in most spinnerbaits, buzzbaits and jigs made by all manufacturers, come from the same suppliers. The one big difference is where they were assembled. This process does lower the cost of the final product simply because they are assembled in a sweatshop in some country where the worker is paid a ridiculously low wage. The thing that then jacks up the price is sticking some "pros" name on it so he can get his royalties.
