Short & Sweet...

So you want to buy something new in a factory sealed box on eBay for a discount price. I bet that manufacturer warranty is pretty important to you. Be warned, a lot of companies do not honor a warranty without PROOF OF PURCHASE!!! And that proof of purchase most of the time has to be from a known retailer, and guess what? The majority of manufacturers do not consider eBay a valid retailer.

So before bidding on that brand new HDTV with a 1 year warranty...make sure you are getting some sort of invoice or original receipt.

Be warned... I had to learn the hard way...Y'all can learn from my mistakes.
