I just wanted to through out a simple idea that can turn into some serious cash if you take it seriously.

Most ebay sellers, market market and then market some more to get people to their listings and when they sell and item they are happy.  There is nothing wrong with this but I have noticed a high number of sellers who could do a tremendous ammount of business with follow up sales.  That right, follow up sales are the biggest missed market on ebay!

Let just say you sell somebody an ipod.  Maybee they would like skins, headphone, and other cool stuff to add on to the ipod.  Here's a novel idea, how about offering the customer an instant discount off of your other like products once they make a purchase!  This will call attention, make urgent and give them an offer that they will be interested for once.  We all know we get enough spam , would'nt you be glad to see an offer in your email from a seller you are familiar with that is offering something you want.

Again, this idea is only worth as much as you put into it, but remember people are making a killing out there doing this.
