Tiffany: Here is a company going out of its way to produce an extraordinary product.  No sales, no discounts, no surplus.  Quality goods all the way.  People come to ebay thinking they can pick up a fine piece of jewelry for a good price, I did.  Boy was I wrong!  Like a kid in a candy store, salivating all the while I had a wonderful time grazing along the pieces of Tiffany Bracelets....I want this! NO! I want that! NO! This!  NO! That!  Well you get the picture. So I won a few auctions.  I am the type of person who can not  eat just one chip, I have to have a handfull.  I can't wear just one bracelet, I have to have several.  I bought 4 of the Tiffany beaded bracelets and 2 of the silver mesh bracelets and a few of the other types.  Could not wait for them to arrive. First bracelet comes in....gee, THIS is Tiffany?  What's the big deal?  I will tell you what the big deal was-it was fake! And so was the second one and the third one.  Out of 6 bracelets, 3 of them are FAKE...FAKE...FAKE!  Now that really pisses (excuse the language here) me off.    I opened the first mesh bracelet-the color of aluminum, rough enough to snag hosery, light weight, the bag is cheap..it looked like crap.  I thought, I can't wear this, I WON'T WEAR THIS!  Why are people enthralled with Tiffany.  Then I open the other package...I pick up this wonderful warm piece of glowing silver, so smooth to the touch you could rub it over satin, hosery, a baby's skin-heavy to the feel and I knew instantly why people fall in love with what comes in those little blue bags....TIFFANY!

I immediately marched upstairs and began my campaign agains the fraudsters. I now monitor the website looking for obvious fakes.  I have managed to get a few people kicked off by reading the descriptions, their feedback and looking at what they are selling.  If they do not answer me I get a good indication of what is going on.  I even have written the buyers of pieces I think are fake and asked them to come read these blogs to make sure they have gotten a good piece of jewelry. Heck, ebay may kick me off-will save me money if they do.  That would be par for the course, kick me off and let the guilty people stay on there and sell their knockoffs.  

People be sure and read the description. Read the feedback-has this dealer sold LOTS of Tiffany?  Ask them where did they manage to get all of it to sell.  Look at the packaging-compare it to the picture here on these blogs, if it is off center or too large it is fake and if it is fake chances are everything in the auction is fake.  If they will not answer your email that should give you a good indication of what is going on.  Beware of brand new sellers.  Beware of people who would rather sell for a few dollars then return to Tiffany for a full refund.  Never buy from anyone who will not accept returns.

I think the statistics are something like 80% of the Tiffany sold on ebay is fake.  I know that holds true with me.

People who try and earn a living by cheating honest people out of their hard earned money are scum as far as I am concerned.  Dealing in counterfit Tiffany is considered mailfraud, Tiffany can sue these people and Ebay will throw them off.

If you are checking an auction out and you believe you have run across someone selling fake Tiffany, please scroll to the bottom and you will see a place that says 'Report This" click on that and it will take you to a screen where you will check on "Counterfeits and Copywrite violations" then you check on "Potential Trademark Infringement" and then check on "Counterfeit  Watches and Jewelry." and hit continue.
