***** Alert **** There are a ton of listings for "ARC'TERYX MENS ALPHA SV GORE-TEX JKT NEW" All with the same series of
pictures, plus or minus a few in black and blue colors, these jackets a not even close to real Arc'teryx Alpha SV jackets, go to the Arcteryx web site to compare, against a real Alpha SV. Don't get taken by these Thieves, don't waste your money, they are not legit, they are not 100% guaranteed authentic, there is no lifetime warranty because they are counterfiet, they are not made with Gore-tex pro shell, they where not purchased from an Authorized Dealer, they are fake and will not perform like a Real Arcteryx, these Jackets are a SCAM. Don't get taken!!!!! People are bidding on these fakes, don't let them steal your money.
Update = well it looks like there is a new color to add to the list of Fakes, it's the new Red, Black and Grey monstrosity, here shown next to a picture from the arc web site of the real Deal. What a Difference.
Please look carefully at the pictures of the fake Alpha SV, in the ad that has a viewable tag it reads 82%Nylon 18%Spandex, This means that this counterfeit is a SOFT SHELL a far cry from a Alpha SV made with 480N GORE-TEX® 3L Pro, The Alpha SV is as hard as a hard shell can be with only 2 high hand front pockets and 2 inner laminated pockets and a sleeve pocket, No-lift gusseted underarms, Articulated elbows, Just look at the fake jacket, the sleeves are a joke the shoulder is the same size as the wrist hope you have some mighty skinny arms or they are not fitting in this jacket.
I keep reporting these counterfeit listings to E-Bay but to no avail. There is just way to many ignore so I have contacted Arc'teryx to see if they can do anything to stop these Thieves.
Please don't buy these counterfeit, pathetic, not even close to real Arcteryx Alpha SV jackets, just watch how they drive up the prices in the bidding history, people are spending hundreds on a jacket maybe worth $20
