Would you like to buy an Apple video iPod for your family or yourself?

Yes, it is true. Apple surprised a lot of people yesterday and announced video iPod. It probably will become one of the hottest gifts for this Christmas. As a huge eBay and Apple fan, I think this is the best place for me to share what I learned about this new cool gadget and hope the information will be helpful for our eBay community members.

Besides these new features, new video iPod does all the tricks old iPod can do. Some of those are:
-    Music: Play your favorite music songs
-    Photo: Store and display your digital photos
-    Podcasts: Listen to your favorite radio station at your time (Tivo for Radio)
-    Audiobooks: Won’t that be fun to listen to one of Harry Porter books from iPod?
-    Calendar/Contact: You will have your calendar and contact with you anytime you need it. It can sync with PC and Mac applications.
-    World Clock: Now displays time for four different time zones
-    Multi-Language Support

It is not an exaggeration at all to say this gadget is packed with features people would love .There are a few I particularly like:

-    It can hold 150 hours of video, or 7,500 songs. The capacity is 50% larger than the old iPod (20G) with the same price $299.
-    Only $1.99 for one MTV or one episode of your favorite TV shows. If you missed the episode of ‘Desperate housewife’ in last week, no problem, you can get it from Apple iTunes stores online for only $1.99 and show it on your iPod. Or if you like one particular song from U2, you can get the MTV for only $1.99. Download time is only 10-20 mins using broadband for a TV show. You can also move your current video content to iPod if it is in the formats supported.
-    Good quality video. Video display current supports the following formats. Firmware upgrade is possible to support future video formats
    H.264 video: up to 768 Kbps, 320 x 240, 30 frames per sec., Baseline Profile up to Level 1.3 with AAC-LC up to 160 Kbps, 48 Khz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4 and .mov file formats
    MPEG-4 video: up to 2.5 mbps, 480 x 480, 30 frames per sec., Simple Profile with AAC-LC up to 160 Kbps, 48 Khz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4 and .mov file formats
-    The optional accessory includes a universal dock which can be used for syncing and charging.  And get this, it supports the new Apple remote. You can use the cool new Apple remote control to control your iPod and play your favorite video/music/photo. That’s just so cool.
-    Price is right. With the same price as old iPod, Apple packed in tons of new features in this new generation of iPod.
