Wondering if the Apple Product you are looking to buy is still covered under Apple Care ? Wondering if a seller has the correct specs listed for an item ? Interested to know if you can still buy Apple Care warranty extension on an item you are interested in ?

Very very simple go to Apple's website, click on the Support Tab, then in the lower right hand corner there is a box marked

"About Your Support Coverage" enter the serial there or if you don't know the serial follow the instructions by clicking the "Where do I find my serial number" link.

It seems that all models from about Model Year 2001 onward are in the data base, older models like Powerbook G3's will not return any information.

I couldn't get any information for a G5 tower I was using and it came back with "No Information found", this could be due to it having a "RM" serial number, which are Certified Remanufactured Apple Products. Better known as refurbished.

This is the reason the question for the serial number is asked by so many potential buyers as checking if it still might be under Apple Care could mean the difference between a deal or not.
