Vintage and Antique Linens and Lace

Whether you're a new collector, seasoned collector or dealer of antique & vintage linens, the following books are excellent basic reference guides for the identification of your vintage linens. 

As a long time passionate collector and dealer, I have built an extensive library of books.  There are many good books out there, but, I always find myself referring to these all time favorites for general reference.

Both of these books have a fabulous variety of linens and lace with loads of beautiful pictures.  Detailed information with the names and descriptions of the handwork.  I especially love the alphabetical set up for easy reference.   Lots of Madeira and Marghab linen photos.  Two MUST HAVE books for all collectors!


An excellent variety that covers a very broad range of textiles, not just linens.  Lots of pictures with close up detailing of laces and needlework.  An excellent reference book for the new or seasoned collector!
