When you are listing an antique toy airplane for auction, please try and insert in your ad as much of the following information as you are able to give the buyer a better understanding of what they are buying. You will see that misunderstandings following the sale will be almost all but eliminated.
- Airplane manufacturer name;
- Under wing markings;
- Plane's dimensions (if taking pictures, put something of known size into the picture for reference);
- State whether paint and/or stickers are in original condition;
- Indicate the propeller's condition, if applicable: (original? broken? bent? missing?);
- Indicate the condition of the wheels: (original? broken? bent? missing? working?);
- If you know the type of aircraft (B-17, F4U Corsair, Spitfire, P-47, etc.);
- Plane's material(s): (tin, die cast, paper, plastic, rubber, etc); and
- Approximate year of manufacture, if known.
