When I first ventured Off into the world of Perfume bottle collecting,  I was overwhelmed by the diversity of shapes and colors.  All of a sudden, I was dazzeled by my awareness of them everywhere I looked. They came in every color and shade I could imagine--- and never dreamed of. But which ones were rare and which were common? what were the most valuable- and the rarest? By research and first hand experience, this is what I found:

The Opaque colors are the rarest.The frosted colors and opalescent colors are also very rare and difficult to find.. Then comes all of the other colors with there many shades.

The following is a list of the colors from rarest to least rare: 

The Rarest:     Ivory, Brown, Opaque Oarange,

                       Opaque Turqoise, Teal, Turqoise

                       Amberina, Opalescent, Opaque Blue,

                       Opaque Red.  

  Very Rare:    Opaque Black, Gray, Red, Vaseline,

                       Cobalt Blue, Opaque Green, Heather.

 Rare :             Purple,  Yellow, Amber,

Intermediate:   Pink, Green, Blue

Common:        Clear
