There have been many people on ebay buying and selling the Andy Roddick Lacoste Hats.  However, many sellers are NOT selling authentic items, and most buyers do NOT know what to look for in an authentic one-in fact, one of the guides here on ebay about these hats isn't even correct in 2 out of the 3 points the person makes.  This person states that these hats never retailed for $40("Pretty much everyone says it retails for $40, but it does not"), and that there was mesh in the back.  There are 2 types of Andy Roddick Lacoste Hats-the ones from last season, and then the new ones.  The previous version which is the one everyone has been trying to find WAS being sold by Lacoste at their stores for $40.  This is the white or blue hat with the Lacoste Gator measureing at 1 3/4 inches long on the RIGHT SIDE ONLY.  If you see this hat with the gator on the left side, IT IS NOT REAL.  There is NO MESH in this hat, only two holes at the top of the hat in the middle for ventilation.  This is a very difficult hat to find these days, as Lacoste no longer sells them, which is also why it's being sold for much more than then original retail price of $40.  The style # for the white hat is RN 87651 as shown on the price tag attached to the hat and also on a tag inside the Hat as well.   I'm not sure what the style # for the blue one is anymore-i haven't had any of those for a while.  As far as sizes go, this hat comes in a size S/M which is a 2 or a M/L which is a size 3.  Those are the only two sizes i have seen-there may be a size 4 for L/XL, but i have not seen it.  This hat is NOT one size fits all and DOES NOT say 00 on it.  The tag has the size and also has LACOSTE SPORT stitched on it with the size on the top left corner of that lable.  I have sold a few of these hats on ebay and have gotten them ALL from the Lacoste Store at the Americana in Manhasset.

The new and most recent Andy Roddick Lacoste Hat is the one which has mesh on the back half of the hat. If u're looking at the hat from the front, it has the gator on the Left side of the hat, right above the brim.  This one DOES have mesh on it, and retails for $55 at lacoste stores.   It comes in either black or white, with a style # of RN 87651 - CA 16998.  It DOES NOT say Lacoste anywhere on the hat, except inside on the tag.  Please be aware of people selling this hat with the lacoste alligator shown on the right side of the cap if u look at it straight on.  Lacoste HAS NOT made such a hat.  Also, this hat is ONE SIZE FITS ALL and thus the tag shows a size of 00.  Please look for my auctions on these items if u want to be sure that u are buying a 100% authentic item.  Many people have been selling fakes here on ebay, and most people don't even realize or know what they are buying.  If u have any questions, feel free to contact me.
