It seems that fraudulent Yurman sellers have managed to claim they accept Paypal when, in fact, they don't. Do NOT bid on Yurman pieces from sellers with a low number (25 or so and under) who don't have any feedback from selling an item. Be sure to read the print in or under the item description. There are some sellers right now, selling the same Yurman item over and over and over and over again, who list Paypal as a payment option, then right below the item description they say "payment by bank transfer, check, or money order only".
That should be against the rules, right? I've reported these people to eBay, and nothing has happened. Until these scam artists get found out, and their numbers start going down as people realized they have been ripped off.
These people set up accounts, then buy a few small-ticket items for just a few dollars. After a few months have passed, they start 'selling' Yurman pieces and, lo and behold, they accept Paypal! READ THE FINE PRINT!! I'm following another fraudulent seller who refused Paypal when the sale clearly listed Paypal as an option. This person had only one feedback as a seller, a negative one, and after a few days, their number went from 10, to 9, to 8, then they took their feedback information private, to 7, to 6, then they disappeared.
Another tip is that the listing times get shorter and shorter, since the scam artists knows he/she will be not allowed to sell for much longer. In the meantime, they continue to rip off honest eBayers.
Shouldn't this be illegal? If a seller claims to accept Paypal, shouldn't they be required to?
