" An Inexpensive Way Of Removing Scratches and Blemishes from Lenses & Glass "
Hi, I came up with this solution myself as I struggled to find a cheap and easy way to fix a scratched lense that I scratched on my digital camera while cleaning it with a cleaning solution that came with the camera kit. I figured if i am able to use something cheap to remove scratches and blemishes on my car with out damaging the clear coat then I should be able to use it on a lense or glass without any damage. Here is what I used on it and it work beautifully , it removed the scratches and polished the lense all at the same time and in no time.

You'll need 100% cotton cloth and a bottle of (" KIT " SCRATCH OUT )clear Coat Safe as shown in the picture below.
You Can Purchase This Bottle At Any Pepboys & Auto Zone Or At Many Other Auto Parts Stores.
Steps:
1.) Clean your lense or glass with a damp "warm water" 100% cotton cloth to remove any dirt grease etc and then dry.
2.) Make sure that you shake the bottle of "Kit Scratch Out " before use.
3.) Pour a dime size of (Kit Scratch Out) onto a clean dry 100% cotton cloth and spread over the scratched area using a clock wise circular motion for atleast 1 minute then wipe of excess and if the scratch is still visible repeat setp 3 again until scratch is nolonger visible , donot let the " Kit Scratch Out " dry on the lense or glass.
4.)Gently wipe clean and dry with a cotton cloth in the same circular clock wise motion as in step 3 as this will polish your lense and / or glass. Do not wet or Wash the Lense after using the" Kit Scratch Out " . If still blur just wipe some more with the dry cotton cloth until it's nolonger blur.

This worked wonders for me as I did not had to have the lense polished professionally , because that would have been very expensive, Hope this helps and work for you as well.
