American Idol Top 10 Finalists... The Votes are In!

The votes came in last night... and they were surprising to me! Ace Young, Lisa Tucker and Melissa McGhee were in the bottom three. Eventually, Melissa McGhee was booted from the show... but I really did not expect Ace or Lisa to struggle. If you've read my guides, I am not a fan of Ace - but I did expect the young females to vote him threw based on his looks. I think Lisa is tremendous - but Paris Bennett is clearly stealing her votes since they have similar styles.

It was definitely Melissa's time to go... but I thought she would be joined by Awful Kevin Covais and Bucky Covington. I should have paid attention to idolblog.com though - their polling was accurate all last year and did it again this year: "According to our polls, the bottom three were Ace Young (1%) followed by Lisa Tucker (2%) and Melissa McGhee (2%). Kevin Covais (2%) is also down the bottom as is Bucky Covington (2%). The clear favourites are Taylor Hicks (32%), Chris Daughtry (27%) and Katharine McPhee (15%) while Paris Bennett (5%), Kellie Pickler (5%), Mandisa Hundley (4%) and Elliott Yamin (3%) round out the middle pack."
