I have been on ebay since 2004 with 100% positive feedback. I am like so many of you and am probably too trusting. I do not think that anyone will say they did not receive an item when they really did. After four years I had a lady say she did not receive a toy and said she had sent numerous emails that I had not answered. She wanted a delivery confirmation number. I had never got a delivery confirmation number when I mailed an item. I had only got one email and answered that one. I finally wrote her and told her that the one email she sent me was through ebay and that the answer was also through ebay. Guess what, the next day she said she had suddenly received the toy and everything was OK.
The moral of my story is: I now always spend the .75 and purchase a delivery confirmation with everything I mail. This has come in handy several times. Also, I try to use paypal and print postage online as often as I can. This comes with a delivery confirmation number. When I mail the item I always email the person and give them the date I mailed the item and give them the confirmation number. I think this practice will save me a few headaches in the future and is well worth the extra .75.
