Always Check Your Lottery Tickets

I learned a valuable lesson today.  I scratched a $1 ticket and I was pretty bummed out that I didn’t win.  I scratched the ticket at the gas station because I was visiting a friend; she checked it even though it was clear I didn’t win.

After scanning the barcode and punching in the ticket code the “Da Da Da Dum Dum” song played and I had won $10.  We looked the ticket over several times and couldn’t figure out how on earth I had won.  Oh well… I’ll be sure to check all scratch and win tickets whether I think I won or not.

I hope this little guide has helped, I only wish I would’ve known sooner, maybe I actually did win on some of those Christmas stocking tickets.
