Other uses for your Wii Fit balance board

There's only so much Wii Fit that you can play, so if you're absolutely sick of playing wii fit, why don't you try these other ideas to make use of your balance board?

Balance Board Idea #1:

Use it to control Google earth and World of Warcraft. A couple of German guys from the German artificial intelligence research centre took a balance board and connected it to their PC. Using some fancy programming skills and a bluetooth module in their laptop and away they go! Check out the photo below to see how it's used.

Balance Board Idea #2:

Use it as a non slip bath mat! Safety should always come first, especially when there's water around. The balance boards nonslip feet and rough textured surface make it ideal for bathing for kids or seniors who can have an increased risk of slipping and banging their head. While you're at it, why not get a hand railing installed just for added protection?

Balance Board Idea #3:

It's no secret that the balance board weighs a tonne, and it's built to withstand a lifetime of stepping. Next time you hear a noise downstairs and your partner elbows you to get out of bed and check it out, leave the bat under the bed. Just grab your trusty wii fit balance board, and belt the bugger over the head with it. He'll be telling his mates that the last thing he saw was a white tombstone coming at his face.

Balance Board Idea #4:

The streets are getting tougher these days, and as it's still illegal to wear a bulletproof vest, why not strap a wiifit board under your shirt? It's well built and sturdy enough to hold a 110 KG human, so surely it's got to be able to provide some protection. Whether you're looking for protection from bullets or knives, it's got you covered.

Balance Board Idea #5

If you know you're totally over Wiifit, I couldn't think of a better use for it than an extra cutting board.
Cutting boards can get expensive, and with the Balance Board's anti slip pads on the bottom, it will work perfectly. I'd give it a good go with disinfectant first if people have been standing on it without it having a silicon cover over it though. There's nothing like a bit of feet sweat to taint your vegies.
