When using any air supplied Tool many belive that more air makes it work better. Not true!!! You are doing more harm than good. Manufacturers recomendations are there for a good reason, they are there to give you optimum performance! When you overfeed an air tool you do damage to the the fins in that tool which cause it to lose power and slow down. Eventually the tool will have to be rebuilt much sooner than the normal life of the tool. also a regulator water seperator is recommended. First the regulator will let you use the proper amount of air. Secondly water is not the freind of your tool, the water contains calcium and other contaminants which destroy the insides of your tool. Use a good lubricant/cleaner, such as Blaster Air Tool conditioner, and keep your air tool in god working order for a long long time.
