Aiptek HD is one of the little tiny all-in-one camcorders that promises a full HD at a unbeatable price usually below $200.
That sentence above should already given some hint as to the genuineness of the statements of the seller. Statements like -Captures true to life, vibrant colors and astonishing High Definition images like you've never seen- are second to bogus. I have personally tested Aiptek A-HD 1080P. The truth is, it is probably the best of the worst and cheapest camcorders. I found it better in comparison to Silicon Valley Products (SVP) camcorders in terms of craftsmanship, relatively better picture and slightly better navigation in the menu. This is as much positive as I can give it.
The reason people would consider purchasing such gadget it to make videos and sometimes take pictures. Full HD they say? Forget about it. In terms of pixel resolution, yes, but in terms of video quality, it has nothing to do with HD. The colors and frame rate are very poor to say the least. It is claimed to have up to 60fps, yet it feels more like 20fps. The video tends to be jittery and jerky. Take it to a slightly darker room and you can put your Aiptek away. Both for video and for pictures. And for audio also. Audio is likely the weakest feature of Aiptek. It will not handle high pitched tones and other unusual frequencies. It is hard to say whether this product is worth buying, some people will certainly be impressed with it, especially if they own a HD TV, on which this video will looks great compared to their old 1990' camcorder.
See this youtube video, made with Aiptek A-HD. Pay attention to the sound quality and the picture quality also. (Of course youtube also decreases the quality):

For people who ever owned a regular Sony, JVC or other recognized brands, and especially for people who have experience with real HD camcorders (which are still relatively expensive), they will be very displeased with this all-in-one wanna-be.
Bottom line, Aiptek is a small camcorder that fits into one's pocket and into a small water resistant bag for filming under water, which can be purchased for relatively little money. If you prefer small size and cheap price combined with not-so-good performance, it is a camcorder for you. But if you want a good camcorder that will never let you down in terms of performance in different lighting conditions, go for a better camcorder.
