Everyone is after an easy to use, affordable, practical, and fun design for a shopping cart cover. I am a top seller of shopping cart covers on ebay and offer a quality cart cover for half the price of others. I've sold over 1500 shopping cart covers on Ebay  in less than two years.  There's no end in sight!  My covers are much more affordable than most but will still offer the quality your precious cargo deserves-they can be used for years. Some of the more expensive shopping cart cover sellers suggest that if one is offered at a cheaper price it is "cheaply made." I think one of the most important aspects is the ease of use.  A good cart cover should be simple one handed operation. If it's too complicated with velcro and snaps and takes more than one arm-you're less likely to use for those hurried shopping trips.My covers have elastic around the outer edge and should stretch around any cart you run into.  I say fit "most" because there's no way for anyone  to know "all". My covers have been sold to all 50 states in USA including Puerto Rico plus internationally to Canada,UK,Italy,Germany,Hungary, and Australia.

Affordability was a major component when I was looking and who has an extra $50 or more for this item. I offer quality cart covers that will last years for half the price of other sellers. My little boy started using his cart cover at 4 1/2 months and he's almost three and he's still  using it without problem. My covers are a combination of serging and regular sewing-very durable.

Some covers offer a lot of extras that are really not necessary for everyone.  A pillow is nice and I do those for an extra cost but for the most part these will end up on the ground or lost in the store.  My covers have a high loft batting in the seat area.  The cushioning covers the butt and back area where it's important.  I think they would be too bulky completely cushioned because when I leave the house I have everything but the kitchen sink and wouldn't be able to carry it all.  I also offer one pocket and two toy tabs-which are a MUST in my opinion!  Linking toys to these will ensure a pleasurable shopping trip. All  shopping cart covers should be machine washable and machine dry-no fuss!

Leg Holes- I think two leg holes are important-even if it makes it more work in the begining to put your child in-practice makes perfect. I've seen designs with one big hole in the front and then the bar from the cart cover is exposed which also exposes your child. And isn't that why we all want a cart cover is to decrease the risk of germs, bacteria, feces, etc. on a shopping cart.

Safety-A belt with a buckle is a must have.  The belts provided on shopping carts are usually broken and most certainly disgusting!! Adult supervision required at all times. The belt should be slid through the buttonholes of the cover and attached to the shopping cart for security.

Fun- I think a cover should be fun too!! I offer a wide variety of child fun fabrics and also ones that are pleasing for Moms too.
