I have written other guides on how to spot fake Rolex's and fake Affliction jeans.
This is based on my own experiences.
I would like to concentrate on a particular pair of Affliction jeans.
These are the Affliction Red Label Premium "Shredded Denim #A465" jeans.
This particular set of threads retail for $300 per pair which is why they are so heavily counterfeited on eBay
and sell for half the price.

Let's first look at what the REAL jeans look like.
These photos are of my personal pair of sized 38/34 jeans.
Rather than making lots of comparisons and since the fakes vary so much,
lets just concentrate on what is supposed to be on the real jeans so as not
to confuse you too much!!!
Notice that the logo is embroidered in red.
Affliction always embroiders their logo into the back of the jeans in same color as the stitching.
So if your jeans have orange stitching, the logo with be orange....blue then blue, etc.
This close up shows the skull button.
The counterfeiters have really gotten this one down, because the fakes look just as good as the original.
Notice on the right front belt loop there is this metal band with the name on it.
Notice the skull rivets.
The fakers do have the rivets but not all have the badge.
This band is sewn onto the belt loop and does not come off.
On the back right is this leather badge that will allow your belt to pass through.
There is an attached metal ornament attached to the embossed leather.
Many of the fakes will feature a metal badge used on the older "Denim Killers"
The main feature of these jeans is the detailed embroidery on the back pockets.
It should be very detailed and perfect! Some of the fakes look really cheap,
or use too bright of red, or some are actually silk screened.
The thread should be blood red, not fire engine red.
It is also important to mention that unlike the other Affliction "Denim Killers",
the Red Label Premium Shredded jeans do not feature the silk screen printed signature
skulls on the inside of the pants, they are just plain material.
The price hand tag should be embossed with red reflective foil.
The fakes will usually just have a black and white card or nothing at all.
All new Affliction jeans come with a metal dog tag pendent like this one.
It hangs on a black shoe string that resembles leather.
Always remember:
Another thing to keep in mind is that these clothes are well made and
custom tailored. They are made to fit perfect and made from good materials.
If you find a new pair of $300 jeans on eBay for $100 then you should be
suspicious and ask for DETAILED photos.
However the best suggestion is simply NOT to buy your Affliction clothes
from ANYONE except authorized resellers like BUCKLE or better yet
directly from http://www.afflictionclothingstore.com
If you already own Affliction clothing, remember to always wash them
INSIDE OUT, on delicate or hand wash warm, and tumble dry.
Always follow the label instructions.
