Before you bid on any Advertising Clock stated to be old and authentic, please ask the seller the following questions. Does he know the History of the clock? Will he gurantee that the clock is Original and not a Reproduction (this is the most important question, if he cannot answer, the clock is most likely a reproduction. Ebay has been swamped with fake Advertising clocks recently. You need to understand that most of the Advertising clock faces are being reproduced. Some out there are taking old clock cases and simply replacing the faces with a mint reproduction face and selling it as authentic or "Original". Many are being sold for 5, 6 hundred , even thousands of Dollars, simply because the face looks like new. The faces sell for around 65 bucks. Not a bad investment for thse without a conscience. I would be glad to let you know if the clock you want to bid on is authentic. Just drop me an email. cckep@verizon.net
