There are quite a few Adsense information products on the market and Ebay is no exception.
If you are not familiar with Google's Adsense program then the fundamentals are all that is needed to truly get the gist of this guide. Google runs a pay per click program called Google Adwords. Advertisers pay for each click that is generated through the program on their ads placed with Google through it's network of advertisers and its main page at Google.com.
Google also runs an advertising publisher program called Google Adsense which allows qualified websites to received content related ads to the adsense publisher's website in order for Google's Adwords advertisers to gain more exposure, Google to gain more revenue and Adsense Publishers to gain additional income from ads that appear and generate visitors to Google's Advertising customers when they click on ads at the Adsense Publisher's website. It's basically Google allowing the syndication of their advertising for their clients to third party sites to allow everyone to prosper.
Some people out there are making a lot of money with Google's Adsense Program. Many people would like to know the ins, outs and any secrets that would help them reach a two, three or even six figure mark annually on their Google Adsense earnings.
Some people have chosen (and wisely so) to capitalize on this Adsense phenomenon by creating Adsense Instructional Videos, Ebooks and Audio Tutorials. Some of them are good. Some are great. Some aren't worth the digital bits and bytes the ebooks are created on.
There are two things I recommend to anyone regarding these Adsense Informational Products.
1. Read the Ebay Advertisement CAREFULLY and then RE-READ IT! - If the Seller has convinced you that the product is the greatest thing since sliced bread then I suggest you even read it a THIRD TIME!
Why? Ultimately it is because you can't fault the Seller if you didn't read the Ebay Auction or Seller's Ad Copy in their Ebay Store. You need to read the advertising critically for the problems in it. What is the Seller promising? Is the seller promising ANYTHING? What is the Seller selling? Is it a system? Is it a tutorial? Is it a guaranteed method of income?
Ebooks and other informational products can be just as valuable (if not more so) than a hardcover book you buy at Barnes and Noble for $59.99. The value is in the content! What you need to be sure of is what the Seller is selling! If the Seller has not misrepresented the product in any way but you have ASSUMED something from the wording that has not been stated by the Seller then you have not been a prudent shopper. I tell you this because I have done this myself in the past and chances are I will do it again sometime in the future. Yet even I have to admit that it is patently unfair to post negative feedback for a Seller because you (or I) read something into the action or item description that wasn't there.
What I am advocating here is to be a conscientious buyer of Adsense Information products. There are Great Products out there that have been created to help you with Google's Adsense Program. You just need to screen them carefully.
2. Make sure you know the Google Adsense Policies, Terms and Conditions! This is CRUCIAL! There are Adsense informational and instructional products out there that sound not only GOOD, they sound FANTASTIC! Some of them, however, are the key to your downfall. For example, recently I purchased such a product. It was cheap so I figured that I had nothing to lose. Unfortunately, the eBook not only advocated tactics which were in violation of Google's Adsense but it amounted to criminal fraud. I got a refund and had to call the violation to the Seller's attention. The seller modified the ebook to make it compliant with Google's Adsense term and avoid the criminal fraud, but the ebook really wasn't any better.
Personally, I am an advocate for information products. I think that ebooks, videos, audios and podcasts that are informational and/or instructional in nature are no less valuable if the work is put into the content than print media. Just like anything else that you buy the value is in the components that make it up.
In summary, if you are going to buy an Adsense Informational and/or Instructional Product then I highly recommend that you (1) read the Advertising Copy carefully and with a critical eye, and (2) if you are going to rely upon anything in the product. . . make sure you know the Adsense Program terms and conditions to make sure that what you are being instructed to do is "Adsense Compliant".
Failure to do either of these things could result in (1) being an unhappy purchaser, or (2) using a technique that gets you banned from the Adsense Program for life.
